So what the heck is a Wine Weyr, anyway? Most wineries call it a wine club. We’re not most wineries.
Wine is an adventure. Sure, it’s what’s in the glass. But it’s also the stories – the folklore – behind how it got there. The vineyards, the environment, the experimentation, the style, the science, the individuals, and the community are what give wine its true meaning.
Whether you’re making it or enjoying it, wine is a wild ride. And we’re all riding along on this quest together. So we chose to call our wine club the Wine Weyr.
A Weyr is a collection of dragons, their riders, and support staff. The Wine Weyr is a magical community of sorts, where we broaden our tastes, experiment with the new and unknown, and have a good time.
Wine Weyr subscribers will receive annual shipments of our wines. You can choose to join First Impression, our 6 bottle subscription, or Dragonriders, our 12 bottle subscription.
FIRST IMPRESSION

The First Impression takes place when a baby dragonet hatches from its egg and forms an intense mental and spiritual bond with its chosen rider. Wine is similar.
First Impression is our compact subscription for Weyrfolk to forge their own adventure into our weird winedom, exploring a sampling of our wine releases from a given year.
This subscription includes 6 bottles of wine, to be sent in one shipment in spring.

Once a rider is impressed, they become a Weyrling and undergo concentrated training to understand how to care for their dragons as they grow, mature, and learn to fly.
Dragonriders courageously venture into our weird winedom, exploring a comprehensive set of all our wine releases from a given year.
This subscription includes 12 bottles of wine, to be sent in one shipment in spring.
